Our prechool is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm, during the school season. We follow the School District calendar, so we observe some openings and closings that the school district observes. We also require students to be age appropriate by September 1st before beginning preschool in the Fall.

 

Our program is designed to be five-days-a-week (Monday thru Friday). Our curriculum focuses on art projects centered on weekly and monthly themes. It also introduces the students to academic themes that encourage readiness for kindergarten. We do teach a phonics based academic program called Frontline Phonics. This program teaches children recognition of their letters, recognition of the letter sounds, skills in writing their letters, and some basic reading skills. We have a 1-teacher to 10-student ratio in this class.
